RELIABLE BY NATURE

Marketing, Service & Import

By nature – Our efficient logistics network enables us to focus on our customers and meet their demands. Our marketing and service companies cover the full range of vegetable and fruit retailing. We create and design regional concepts, cooperating closely with retailing and producing companies - and, if required, also throughout Germany.

NETWORK

Alliances & cooperations

Strategic alliance

Our three partners, Capespan, fyffes and vanWylick complement excellently the Gemüsering activities due to their locations, their distribution network as well as the strategic products they produce themselves. From regional vegetable production to pineapples, citrus fruits, stone fruits and grapes up to ripening bananas.

GEMÜSERING BÖHMER

Expertise in the east German greenhouse growing: Gemüsering-Böhmer GmbH & Co. KG is a joint venture of Gemüsering and Böhmer Frische GmbH to market the greenhouse growers in Felgentreu, Schkölen and Meinsdorf.

We handle resources responsibly.

We ensure reliable and cooperative partnerships.

We encourage individual responsibility and team spirit.

We care for a fair treatment throughout the whole value chain.

To us, it is natural to contribute in these areas actively and to cooperate with our partners to continuously find new approaches for the successful production and marketing of fresh fruit and vegetables.

We appreciate, if you are joining us on that mission!

QUALITY BY NATURE

We guarantee quality right from the beginning so that our customers can wholeheartedly enjoy their meals.

ACTING INSTEAD OF REACTING

Acting instead of reacting - this is the motto of Gemüsering's quality management: to identify modern trends at an early stage, show them to producers and, if required, counteract them and create legal certainty for all those involved in the supply chain. We feel committed to product safety in all aspects.

QUALITY MANAGEMENT

In our company there is a long tradition of quality management. We see it as an integral part of our corporate philosophy and are continuously developing it further. Quality management affects the entire cycle from crop production to dealing with questions asked by end users as to, e.g., how best store the products after purchasing. We advise our producers and suppliers on which varieties to select as well as on certification issues, assessing incoming and outgoing products as well as testing their shelf life and how to best pack them. Our activities aim to maintain quality regarding appearance as well as taste, from the newly harvested crop to the end user.

SHARING EXPERIENCE

To ensure quality management we were of course certified , we hold all the certification documents required by the retailers. We actively bring our expert knowledge of production, marketing and retailing to bear in different German quality boards such as the QS Qualität und Sicherheit GmbH, the GlobalG.A.P., the DFHV, the Regionalfenster e.V. or product advisory boards of different federal states.

RESPONSIBLE USE OF NATURAL RESOURCES

The activities of our company aim to preserve the most important resources. Depending on the cultivation region, we focus on different key aspects. These are using regenerative energy in production and storage as well as measures to reduce energy consumption, sustainable use of water as well as measures to advance biodiversity.

SUPPORTING ECOLOGICAL BALANCE

All issues relating to sustainability require communication between all parties involved to balance all ecological, social and economic aspects. Only if all the participants involved in the supply chain act jointly can new trends in all areas such as production, logistics and society be realized.

Memberships

Activities of our quality management team members:

  • Member of the German National Technical Task Force of GlobalG.A.P.
  • Member of the SHC GRASP at GlobalG.A.P.
  • Member of the Advisory Board of QM Quality and Safety
  • Member of the Scientific Advisory Board of QM Quality and Safety
  • Member of several task forces of QM Quality and Safety

ACTING ON THE BASIS OF OUR CONVICTIONS

Values that we regard as essential.

WHY IS FRESHNESS ESSENTIAL TO US

Always supplying fresh crops leads to confidence in the products and ensures durable business relationships.

WHY IS TEAM SPIRIT ESSENTIAL TO US

In a successful partnership, every individual strengthens the group and the group strengthens the individual.

This is why we have decided to take this road. Our subsidiaries, our suppliers and producers as well as being a member of the Untersuchungsring (German Sample Analysis Network) and cooperating with the MBW form this successful community.

At work, we appreciate open and direct communication among our many employees. This is why executives are always responsive and the working atmosphere is characterized by trust.

WHY IS SUSTAINABILITY ESSENTIAL TO US

The environment is our most important partner. He who does not think of the future today will also not be able to prevail in the market in the long run. This is why it is important to us to protect natural resources.

WHY IS RELIABILITY ESSENTIAL TO US

As a reliable partner, we aim to deliver our products punctually and in the required quantity.

We differ from many fruit and vegetable marketers because we act not only as retailers, but also as producers. This is why we can react flexibly to the market.

Day by day we handle the orders punctually and deliver our fresh goods quickly and reliably to our customers.

OUR TEAM

Will be glad to answer any questions you might have or deal with your suggestions.
